Cold rolled thin steel plate (SPCC): This is the most basic sheet metal material, which is widely used, low cost, easy to form, but easy to rust.
Galvanized steel plate (SECC/SGCC): Including electrogalvanized steel plate (SECC) and hot dip galvanized steel plate (SGCC). SECC has excellent corrosion resistance and decorative appearance, and is often used in electronic products and home appliances; SGCC has corrosion resistance, paintability and formability, and is widely used.
Stainless steel: Commonly used models such as SUS304, because of its good anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties, it is often used in parts that require rust and corrosion protection, such as sinks and gas stoves.
Aluminum alloy plate: Low density, high strength, good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile and other fields.
Rust-proof aluminum plate: Aluminum-manganese alloy series products, with excellent anti-rust properties and relatively low prices.
Copper and brass: Copper has high electrical and thermal conductivity and good corrosion resistance, and is often used for parts that carry large currents on power supplies; brass has high strength and good cold and hot workability, and is used for various deep drawing and bending load-bearing parts.
Each of these materials has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the selection should be based on the needs of the specific application scenario. For example, cold-rolled thin steel plates are low in cost and easy to form, but they are easy to rust; stainless steel has good anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties, but the price is relatively high; aluminum alloy plates have low density and high strength, but pure aluminum is soft and has slightly poor strength.
